Workplace Pension Auto-Enrolment Support for Employers

We provide practical, administrative support to help employers meet their workplace pension auto-enrolment duties efficiently and confidently.

Our services are designed to complement your payroll provider and ensure you remain compliant with The Pensions Regulator, without unnecessary complexity.

 

Our regulatory position

  1. Our auto-enrolment services are administrative and compliance-support based.
  2. They do not include payroll processing or calculation of pension contributions.
  3. Auto-enrolment is regulated by The Pensions Regulator and Financial advice relating to pensions is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
  4. Where appropriate, we can introduce employers or employees to independent, FCA-authorised advisers for regulated advice

 

Initial auto-enrolment scheme setup (one-off service)

We can support employers with:

  • Gathering workforce and scheme information
  • Explaining employer duties and qualifying scheme requirements
  • Generic guidance on contribution structures
  • Supporting selection of a suitable workplace pension provider
  • Liaising with the provider to establish the scheme
  • Uploading initial employee data supplied by the employer
  • Confirming initial compliance

 

Ongoing auto-enrolment administration (monthly service)

Where selected, ongoing support may include:

  • Uploading contribution data supplied by payroll
  • Adding new employees
  • Processing leavers
  • Updating employee details
  • Administering opt-ins and opt-outs (administration only)
  • Providing employer summaries and confirmations

 

This service does not include payroll processing, contribution calculations, HMRC submissions, or correction of payroll errors

 

Statutory re-enrolment & re-declaration (every three years)

We can manage the triennial process by:

  • Completing statutory re-enrolment
  • Updating pension provider records
  • Supporting standard employee communications
  • Completing re-declaration of compliance with TPR
  • Providing confirmation of completion

 

Optional salary sacrifice support

Where requested, we can assist with the design and implementation of pension salary sacrifice arrangements, including:

  • Generic guidance on how salary sacrifice works
  • Contribution modelling
  • Illustration of potential National Insurance savings
  • Liaison with your payroll provider

 

Final responsibility for payroll operation and contractual changes remains with the employer and/or their payroll provider
